Vesna released LIDOVOU. After a sold-out show in Karlín, she announced another concert in Prague.

Folklore, rap, and maternal experience meet on the new album LIDOVÁ. Vesna released it on October 23 after a concert at Forum Karlín and will return to the same hall on May 11, 2027.

New edition

Vesna has a new album and another date for the Prague audience. The recording LIDOVÁ was released on October 23, 2026, the day after a sold-out concert at Forum Karlín. The band also announced a return to the same venue: the next show is set to take place on May 11, 2027.

The first full album in Czech after Eurovision

LIDOVÁ is Vesna's first purely Czech album since her participation in Eurovision in 2023. The songwriter Patricie Kaňok builds on the work with folklore that the band has been developing for a long time, adding a more personal experience. According to her, she wrote some of the songs in the evening when she put her daughter to sleep.

The recording connects folk inspirations with contemporary pop. It features a blend of rap and folklore, operatic elements, and cimbalom with reggaeton rhythms. The production was done in collaboration with the team Production Lovers. The result aims to achieve a variety of moods and themes, which folklore understands as a living language to which one can add their own stories.

Known singles and new songs

In addition to previously introduced tracks Štěpáne, Vínečko, and the collaboration with Ben Cristovao Já si tě brát nebudu, the album also includes the songs Pápá, Šáteček, Divoká, Holubička, and Cérenka. The new material thus expands the concert repertoire and the current form of the band.

At the concert on October 22, guests included Ben Cristovao and Martina Pártlová. The evening featured a string quartet, dancers, and a choir of grandmothers. The combination of different generations and musical styles also corresponds to the direction of the new album.

Another meeting at Forum Karlín

For fans who missed the October show, the new Prague opportunity is May 11, 2027. Vesna also announced the Morava tour; detailed dates are to follow the album release.
