Week TIC 2025: For culture, experiences, and the secrets of information centers

From October 24 to 31, 2025, the sixth edition of the Week of Tourist Information Centers (TIC) will take place – a nationwide event that combines exploration, fun, and discovering the behind-the-scenes of our favorite "i's".

New edition

This year, over 200 certified information centers from across the Czech Republic will once again participate. Visitors can look forward to a diverse accompanying program – in previous years, popular activities included guided tours, tastings of regional specialties, creative workshops for children, access to usually closed spaces, and unconventional cultural events. Although the exact program for this year will be announced only in the autumn, the information centers will prepare original experiences in the spirit of exploration and local culture.

The aim of the TIC Week is to remind us that even in the digital age, information centers have their firm place – not only as a source of information but also as a meeting place, a source of inspiration, and local patriotism. The event traditionally begins on World Information Development Day (October 24), proclaimed by the UN, which highlights the importance of access to verified and quality information.

If you love trips, culture, and local curiosities, this autumn, venture beyond the ordinary – to TICs that will surprise not only with their content but also with their atmosphere.
