Central Bohemia invites you to water experiences! Try wakesurfing in Obříství, wakeboarding near Mnichovo Hradiště, or the largest circular track Wake Port near Brandýs nad Labem. Adrenaline and fun for beginners and advanced alike. For a calmer pace, paddleboarding is ideal – in Nymburk with views of the historic town, on the Berounka river to Elektroskanzen, or around Karlštejn with a safari park. Also venture to the Sázava river – the route from Kácov through Český Šternberk to Zruč offers a leisurely float and a visit to the kayaking museum. Rentals, refreshments, and resting spots are available.

AIRCRAFT MUSEUM IN KUNOVICE

Touch a piece of history. In the Aircraft Museum in Kunovice, there are no barriers between visitors and the exhibited artifacts. With one entrance fee, you can look inside the aircraft, listen to radio communications between crews and the Kunovice control tower, and soak up the aviation atmosphere. The exhibition features several unique aircraft, prototypes, and planes with interesting histories that you won't find anywhere else but in Kunovice. Open from April 1 to October 31 – daily, including holidays.

HANDMADE PAPER MILL IN VELKÉ LOSINY

The handmade paper mill in Velké Losiny was founded in the mid-90s of the 16th century on the estate of the Moravian noble family of Žerotín by Jan mladší of Žerotín - the oldest evidence of its existence is the first known watermark from 1596. After more than four centuries of continuous operation, this significant cultural and technical monument with traditional handmade paper production is the oldest working establishment of its kind in Central Europe. The Handmade Paper Mill features a specialized Paper Museum with exhibitions on the history of handmade and industrial paper production, and a specialized shop for handmade papers and products made from handmade paper. THE IMAGE OF PLZEŇ IN ARTWORKS OF THE 19TH AND 20TH CENTURIES

The exhibition "The Image of Plzeň in Artworks of the 19th and 20th Centuries" attempts to map the transformations that Plzeň underwent during the 19th and 20th centuries – from a city surrounded by gardens with a core enclosed by medieval walls to today's industrial metropolis. It focuses on authors associated with Plzeň as well as those who temporarily worked here, drawn by job opportunities or family ties.

TIC WEEK 2025: Discover the Czech Republic with information centers

Do you love to travel for culture and experiences across the country? From October 24 to 31, visit tourist information centers participating in TIC Week 2025. You can look forward to special events, tours, programs for adults and children, small gifts, or tastings of regional products at more than 200 TICs.

CASTLE KONOPIŠTĚ

Konopiště is one of the most significant monuments in the Czech Republic. It is located in beautiful nature not far from Prague. The interiors of the castle are filled with rare works of art, valuable collections, and technical achievements. The castle is open to the public from April to November.

PIRATE COVE AMUSEMENT PARK

Have you not yet found the right park for your children, a space for organizing a corporate event, or just a family celebration? Come to Pirate Cove in Prague-Braník, right under the Braník Bridge. The smallest can have fun on the bouncing castle, trampoline, paddle boats, or children's archery. Boys will enjoy the go-kart track, football darts, and football billiards. All age groups can then compete for chocolate medals at the largest mini-golf course in Prague. Those with a hunter's desire will be taught to shoot with a bow and will set off into the forest to hunt with 18 life-sized animal models.

ZOO DVOREC

The zoo in Dvorec near Borovany is interesting for its authenticity. Visitors can look forward to rare species of mammals, birds, and reptiles. The real gems of the African section of animals are the majestic white lions, the hippopotamus, and the hyena dogs. You will find hundreds of rare and endangered species here. For true adventurers, the Tropical World for crocodiles was opened last year. Various events, experiential programs, and feeding sessions regularly take place here.

CANDLE FACTORY RODAS

Take a look at candle production during a tour of the Rodas candle factory in Šestajovice near Prague and try making your own. In the area, you can visit various other workshops where you can make, create, and decorate soaps, bath salts, wax crayons, gingerbread, or even chocolates. You can also pet the animals that live on the local mini-farm and feed them milk from a bottle with a pacifier. Opening hours during the summer holidays in July and August: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 to 16:00.

MUNICIPAL MUSEUM IN ŽELEZNÝ BROD INVITES YOU TO A UNIQUE VISUAL EXPERIENCE

Visit the glass exhibition that fascinates with a combination of light and glass objects, including monumental sculptures by the famous duo Libenský – Brychtová, whose works are exhibited here in the largest number in Europe. The exhibition of glass figures will entertain not only adults but also children, for whom the museum has prepared an interactive game and a marble run. The glass exhibition is located in the main building of the museum in the square, which impresses with its modernist architecture incorporating the facade of a timbered cottage.

LABYRINTHARIUM LOUČEŇ

If you are looking for something unparalleled in the Czech Republic or Europe, visit the labyrintharium in the castle park in Loučeň. VIEW OF THE CITY IN MOTION

We invite you from June 2 to 7 to Ústí nad Orlicí for the City in Motion celebrations. You can expect a neighborhood dinner, sports, and a rich cultural program in the square. Performers include O5 and Radeček, Robert Křesťan & Druhá tráva, Michal Prokop & Framus Five, the band Jelen, and Kateřina Marie Tichá & Band Jezz. On Saturday afternoon, a diverse program for children will be prepared, including fairy tales, games, and competitions, and throughout the week, an interesting accompanying program. Also visit the lookout tower above the city, whose balcony offers a unique view of the Jeseníky or Krkonoš mountains, and below the lookout tower, you will find a stylish restaurant. Ústí nad Orlicí is located on the railway corridor between Pardubice and Česká Třebová, and every express train stops here.

TESINSKO SILESIA

You can start exploring Těšín Silesia in Bukovec at the easternmost point of the Czech Republic. The educational trail will introduce you to the life of the "Gorals." The Trojmezí cycling route leads through Hrčava, where the borders of three states meet. Admire the landscape, taste local cheeses, the liqueur Miodula, or coffee from a local roastery. The route continues to Mosty u Jablunkova to the historic fortification Velká Šance with a modern visitor center that brings the history of the Czech-Polish-Slovak border closer.

MEDIEVAL ADVENTURE: SAVE JINDŘICH

The Aviation Museum in Kunovice, located in the Uherské Hradiště region, has planned its traditional aircraft washing event for the public, known as Event U, on Saturday, March 21. This year marks the 10th anniversary of this event, which is popular with both adults and children. "Every year, about a hundred people of all age groups come to us," says the museum director, Martin Hrabec.

Prague Bike Fest 2026: The largest cycling festival in the Czech Republic will bring inspiration and a dose of adrenaline to the Exhibition Grounds for the fourth time.

Visitors can look forward to exhibition shows, bike testing, and a special program for children. The last weekend of April, April 25-26, 2026, will once again transform Prague's Exhibition Grounds into a cycling paradise. Following last year's record attendance of over 12,000 visitors and 124 exhibiting brands, it will offer two days full of adrenaline, inspiration, and fun for everyone – from passionate athletes to families with children. Visitors can expect the popular show featuring big air jumps, races, competitions for prizes, lectures, and of course, an introduction to new products. This year's event will again be held under the auspices of the Czech Cycling Federation.

The marsh turtles have ended their hibernation and the sousliks at Sklenářka have emerged from their burrows. Zoo Prague officially welcomes spring. Zoo Prague is open every day in March from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Bear Trail: Bears return to the Krkonoš Mountains after 300 years

The Tree Top Trail in the Krkonoš Mountains in Janské Lázně is preparing a new visitor attraction called the Bear Trail. The project is being developed in collaboration with the Dvůr Králové Safari Park and the KRNAP Administration, and its aim is to connect the experience of mountain nature with education and respect for wild animals.
