Let yourself be carried away into a magical world of toys and Christmas wonders on Saturday, November 22, at the Metropole Zličín shopping center. The central square will transform into a fairy-tale dance floor, where a breathtaking show inspired by the famous story of The Nutcracker, which has become an inseparable part of Christmas, will take place. Starting at 5:20 PM, the dance parade will make its way through the shopping center directly to the stage, where the entire show will commence at 5:30 PM.

The story will be guided by the beloved actor Radim Fiala. The grand dance show will symbolically kick off the Advent season, which is traditionally packed with activities at Metropole Zličín. “At Metropole, we strive to not only make Christmas shopping as enjoyable as possible for our customers but also to create an atmosphere where they can come just to soak in the magical spirit of Christmas. And what could be more fitting for Christmas than the enchanting story of The Nutcracker? In addition to the magnificent show, visitors can look forward to a rich program themed around The Nutcracker throughout the Christmas season – every Advent weekend will feature a different activity. For example, decorating Christmas gingerbread or magical dance lessons for children to learn to dance like The Nutcracker,” says Kateřina Kleslová, the marketing director of the Metropole Zličín shopping center.

An Evening Full of Stars

The performance of The Nutcracker itself is a mosaic of various dance styles – the grace of ballet intertwines with the pulse of modern styles, from breakdance to African rhythms, creating a harmonious ensemble that captivates audiences of all generations.

In the main roles will be soloists from the National Theatre ballet company – Michal Štípa as The Nutcracker and Nikola Márová as the delicate Sugar Fairy. The story will be infused with Latin American rhythms by the renowned dancer Martin Prager and his partner, while the modern twist will be provided by the TAP dance group of Tomáš Slavík and street dance performers.

Come to Metropole Zličín to kick off the Christmas season and let yourself be carried away by a story that stirs emotions and imagination.
