More than 1,600 m2 of newly renovated spaces in an elegant Art Deco style at Empire Hall will be filled with the Slow fashion section featuring selected second-hand items and high-quality Czech fashion brands, in historically the highest number from all editions. One of the novelties will be the Designers zone, where brands like On The Boat by Jana Horejšová will be presented - sustainably, ethically, and ecologically produced clothing, or Jan Bican, an artist known for his original upcycled fashion and successful collaborations with brands such as PUMA, Zalando, or special collections for Rekola, Forbes, or Galerie Šantovka. The sustainable brand AFKA will also showcase its original creations here, using upcycling, redesign, and handmade processing of sustainable materials with certifications in its collections.
The Beauty zone will also be expanded, with a new space for buying and selling children's clothing at the baby market, a children's corner, and the popular tattoo area. Live music by The Elevators and other artists will be featured, just like last year. The entire event will be hosted by the well-known Europe 2 presenter Petr Říbal.
Traditionally, the ambassador and guarantor of LAVRS Market is Kamila Vodochodská, a designer, stylist, and above all, a fashion coach and advocate for sustainable fashion and sustainability in general. Inspirational information and experiences will also be shared during lectures by environmental activist and green influencer Natálie Pažická, or Rozárie Haškovcová, known on Instagram as Shluk Buněk, and many other respected personalities in the environmental field.
