"Both ladies and gentlemen will surely find something for themselves. The show will be complemented, for example, by screening of period materials and interviews with guests. We will also reminisce about the time when the Kunovice-Uherské Hradiště Airport was on the domestic routes of ČSA. We believe it will be interesting both visually and in terms of content," says Martin Hrabec, the director of the Aviation Museum in Kunovice.
The event is organized together with the OK100 project, which commemorates the recently passed centenary of ČSA and is led by aviation journalist and YouTuber Rostislav Kopecký, also known as flyRosťa, and his wife Jiřina Kopecká Borková.
"Our uniform exhibition recently ended at the Air Traffic Control in Prague. However, before many of them have to be returned to their owners, we decided to show them to the general public in a grand style. This may be the last opportunity for a long time to see them all together like this," says Kopecký.
"The OK100 project was created as a way to celebrate the work of those who have diligently built the ČSA brand for decades. The project significantly involved former employees, their family members, and supporters of ČSA," further explained Kopecký. As part of the project, there was an exhibition of uniforms and a book titled Fashion on Czechoslovak Airlines, which maps their history.
"Experienced moderators will guide the visitors throughout the evening. In addition to the fashion show itself, which is under the direction of the Strážnice High School, visitors can also look forward to a night tour of the museum with illuminated airplanes or a bingo draw. But we have even more prepared for them," adds Hrabec about the museum night.
The event will start at 9 p.m. Tickets, priced at 300 Czech crowns, will be available for purchase at the museum on the day of the event. Along with the ticket, attendees will also receive a raffle ticket.
