This event annually raises awareness of Prague's vineyards and introduces the public to their history, present, and future plans.
On May 30 and 31, 2026, it will once again be possible to visit both municipal and private vineyards in the capital city. This event annually raises awareness of Prague's vineyards and introduces the public to their history, present, and future plans. It highlights the authenticity and uniqueness of wines from Prague's vineyards. The unique locations of these green areas of Prague, some of which are protected heritage sites and generally not accessible to the public, will also provide extraordinary views of the city. Prague's vineyards have a tradition that dates back to the Middle Ages and have shaped the character of the city for centuries. Today, winemakers, enthusiasts, and local communities are returning to this tradition by restoring old vineyards and reminding us that wine belongs in Prague as naturally as its historical monuments. During the event, visitors can taste local wines at some vineyards or learn about the stories of the places through guided tours. The vineyards will be open for free (except for St. Clare's Vineyard) usually from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Salabka Vineyard and St. Wenceslas Vineyard will participate in the event only on Sunday. Follow the page "Millennial Prague Vineyards," where you can find all the participating vineyards and a downloadable map of Prague's vineyards.
