The cornerstone of the group BUTY was laid in 1986 at the Český dům restaurant in Ostrava-Vítkovice, and since April 2019, they have been playing in the lineup: founding members Radek Pastrňák ("German Democratic Republic") and Richard Kroczek ("Poland"), distinguished members Petr Vavřík ("Czechoslovakia") and Milan Straka ("Yugoslavia"), and Vlastík Šmída (Slovakia).
