ANIMALS FROM FAIRY TALES AND MYTHS

ANIMALS FROM FAIRY TALES AND MYTHS

Prague Zoo will offer free special pre-Christmas tours for kindergarten and elementary school students from December 2 to 20. These guided tours will focus on creatures known primarily from fairy tale books or television screens and will debunk various ingrained myths associated with them. What does a real devil look like? Where do mythical dragons live? And what is the truth about dancing lemurs? All this and much more will be revealed to the children during the tours, which can be booked now. Schools can take advantage of a favorable pricing scheme for school groups – kindergarten students will pay 50 CZK, while elementary school students will pay 100 CZK for entry to the zoo.

As part of the program, children will not only have the opportunity to learn interesting information about animals, but also to actively participate in various games and activities, during which they often work up a sweat. Experienced guides will tailor the storytelling and tasks to be fun and understandable for all age groups.

Groups can embark on a journey to see the animals from fairy tales and legends on weekdays from December 2 to December 20, but you can already reserve your date through the booking system (https://eshop.zoopraha.cz/skoly/). The tours are intended for kindergartens and primary schools, and the explanation and route will be adapted to the children's age. The minimum group size is 10 students + one supervising teacher, and the maximum is 30 students + the corresponding number of supervising adults. The offer is valid until capacity is exhausted.

To participate in the tour, it is necessary to pay the entrance fee according to the current price list. In this case, the offer of discounted admission for school groups still applies. The visit, including the program, costs 50 or 100 CZK per child/student. The supervising teacher has free admission (for every 10 children, a maximum of 1 adult; for preschool children, a maximum of 1 adult for every 5 children).
