For example, in the Blue Mountains, we ride down the slope directly into the cellar, we walk on snowshoes to trim the vineyard, instead of a bombardino, we drink red mulled wine, on weekends we have open cellars, and in the evening by the cymbal, we greatly enjoy OUR WINTER here…

But let's start nicely in order, for example with an early hike to the snowy vineyards in Hustopeče, a walk through the castle park in Lednice or Valtice with a bottle of fragrant mulled wine, traditional delicacies, and a great mood.

We are not in a hurry, so before lunch, we can still manage a short warm-up in the hot tub or a light massage in some of our favorite spas in Lednice or great wellness hotels. Next comes the first glass of traditional vlašák, pálava, frankovka, or andré. And for the big cold ones, we have almond brandy, apricot brandy, or tramín brandy…

And because after lunch we are looking forward to our favorite cultural exploration, lots of fun, and of course, above all, never-ending tastings of the best that has matured in our cellars, it is necessary to have a good foundation. We know well how and where to enchant the discerning palates, but if you want to be completely sure, choose from the gastronomic establishments awarded in the prestigious Gourmet Southern Moravia competition. You will see for yourself that ours are always among the best!

And we are heading to the finale - an amazing tasting awaits us in the wine cellar with a cymbal player or accordionist, lots of great wine and traditional delicacies… we dance and sing until morning…

So what do you say, what will your somewhat DIFFERENT WINTER be like?

Housing in the spotlight: The Film and Architecture Festival presents films that inspire and warn.

Under the motto To Be or Not to Be, the 15th edition of the Film and Architecture Festival will present an extraordinary collection of films that explore housing from various angles. From Wednesday, September 30 to Monday, October 5, 2026, it will visit Prague, Brno, and more than thirty other cities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The program will highlight different visions of residents, architects, politicians, and developers regarding the shape of cities and will introduce visionaries who have challenged established concepts of architecture and housing. It will also focus on how the environment around us influences our psyche and interpersonal relationships. "This year's theme touches each of us, so we wanted to create a program that appeals to the widest possible audience. The individual films use diverse filmmaking approaches and capture not only the final appearance of buildings but also the ideas and decisions behind their creation, as well as how people actually live in them," adds festival curator Václav Ševčík.
