New edition

„I am pleased to announce that with the approaching date of this year's Comic-Con, we can present more legends such as Franco Nero, whose breakthrough role was the title character in the spaghetti western Django, which made him a film icon and launched his international career with more than 200 films across various genres, from action blockbusters to historical dramas. Jamie Campbell Bower aka Vecna from the series Stranger Things, who also appeared in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, will also be present,“ said Václav Pravda, the festival's program director.

Earlier, Lorenzo Lamas, known as the Outlaw, Warwick Davis, who appeared in all parts of Harry Potter, and the representatives of Stargate – Rainbow Sun Francks aka Aiden Ford and Rachel Luttrell, who portrayed the warrior Teyla Emmagan, confirmed their participation. Kristanna Loken, known from Terminator, will also arrive.

„From Czech personalities, Martin Dejdar will appear, who will arrive at Comic-Con as the legendary Ozzák. He will be joined by Jan Čenský and Petr Nárožný, who will also expand the festival's acting lineup. And as is tradition, we recommend families with children to visit Comic-Con on Sunday. The program on this day is designed to be more accessible for the youngest fans of pop culture,“ said Pavel Renčín, marketing director of Active Radio, the organizing company.

New Exhibitions and Program Updates

This year's edition will feature an exhibition of original movie posters from the 70s and 80s, which will bring nostalgia and a fascinating look at the visual style of the film production of that time. Fans of The Last of Us can look forward to a unique experience that will fully immerse them in the atmosphere of the post-apocalyptic world of the beloved HBO Original series. The exhibition space will be designed to transport visitors directly into the environment of this world.

LEGO has prepared a unique opportunity for fans to build their own LEGO(R) minifigure with their name right on the spot. Other attractions include a giant statue of Sonic the Hedgehog and the evil scientist Dr. Eggman made of LEGO bricks and a showcase of building sets based on popular video games that fans will be able to explore. In addition, there will be competitions for prizes, of course, from the LEGO brand, right at the booth.

Another highlight is Superlov, a special show from TV Nova featuring the exceptional Ondřej Sokol, which will take place on Friday afternoon and will offer visitors an exciting competition show inspired by the popular television game.
