International Festival Ballet

With this change, the artists express their unwaveringly clear stance. Festival Ballet is an international ballet company that has a transnational essence and thus expresses understanding and coexistence in the poetry of art, music, and dance. Since the beginning of the war, the artists have expressed their stance against Russian aggression through numerous protest actions before each of their performances (EuroNews report here). Therefore, they are now threatened by Russia itself. The company, which includes a large number of Ukrainian dancers, naturally perceives itself as a ballet of peace and cohesion among all people.

Artistically, the ballet represents a school of classical ballet in its purest form. Strict elegance combined with modern influences and influences from the 21st century, this is primarily top-class dance performance – all combined with beautiful costumes and monumental settings.

Ballet performance “Swan Lake” (Ballet in two acts to the music of P. I. Tchaikovsky) accompanied by an orchestra

The immortal ballet classic by Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky is known worldwide and continues to enchant people of all ages. Everyone knows the romantic story of “Swan Lake,” featuring the white and black swan, which has become synonymous with the elegance of classical ballet at the highest level.

This year, the uniqueness of the performance will lie in the fact that the company will present the most magnificent Swan Lake in the world in Prague and Ostrava.

48 swan ballerinas is a record in its own right. Never before have so many ballerinas appeared on stage simultaneously in the Czech Republic. The usual number of white swans in the performance of “Swan Lake” is 16-24.

The performance will also be accompanied by the Hungary Festival Orchestra (Hungary).

There is no point in repeating the content of the stories of these immortal artistic works; it is enough to say that the spectators who come to these performances will briefly immerse themselves in a world of romance and beauty, but they will also gain many impressions after penetrating into the fairy tale of love and death, fidelity and betrayal, laughter and tears, fear and courage, into all that relates to world culture, world heritage, and masterpieces of art from around the globe.

An excellent acting ensemble embodies all that is called “the school of classical ballet” – that is, strictly classical elegance, the fresh breath of the twenty-first century, perfect technique of performance, and the limitless breadth of the Russian soul combined with truly royal splendor of costumes and decorations.

The ballet company INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL BALLET was founded in 2011. The group united young and talented artists from the best theaters.

The company has successfully performed in the USA, Italy, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Portugal, China, Brazil, Mexico, and other countries.
