Come join us to kick off Advent, support local creators, and buy or make original gifts for under the tree!
Throughout the afternoon, you will find stalls from local artisans and creators at the Rybárna and in front of it. They will offer original jewelry, knitted products, ceramics, homemade cosmetics, leather and paper goods, and other beautiful little things that will delight you and your loved ones. In addition to shopping, you can look forward to craft workshops on the first floor in the hall, where you will have the opportunity to make your own Advent wreath. All necessary materials will be provided on-site, and since the workshop has limited capacity, it is necessary to purchase a reservation in advance. The event is also ideal for families with children, for whom our team has prepared a workshop for making Christmas ornaments.
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM Make Your Advent Wreath Come and create your own Advent wreath from scratch to decoration. The price includes all materials for making the wreaths, workshop guidance, and all tools and accessories for making the wreath. Capacity: 10 places Price: 450 CZK
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM Make Your Christmas Ornament Do you want to make your own Christmas ornament for the tree? One that will last forever? Come and create ornaments cut from wooden plywood. The workshop is suitable for children with the assistance of an adult. Small decorations such as strings, buttons, beads, and plenty of colors, markers, and other options for decorating the ornament will also be available. No advance reservation is necessary. Admission is voluntary (recommended 50 CZK in cash on-site).
What else to look forward to? The outdoor space by the waterfront will be enhanced by an open fire, where you can warm up or roast something tasty to eat. And as a special surprise, we will have a screening of a Christmas movie, which will add to the cozy and festive atmosphere. There will also be fragrant mulled wine or cider, and other sweet and savory themed treats.
However, please bring your own candles. Those that you like and prefer for the wreath. If you want to recycle candle holders for Advent wreaths from last year, please bring them too.

PRAGUE ZOO AWARDED RICHARD PRIZES
Prague Zoo today awarded the Richard awards to its supporters and patrons. This took place during the traditional meeting with sponsors of the Prague Zoo and adoptive parents of its animals. The Great Richard was awarded to Colonel Milan Laniak of the Czech Army, the Small Richard went to the company Remobil, and the Wild Richard was awarded to Bidfood Czech Republic. The program also included the announcement of the results of the "I Photograph at Prague Zoo" competition, discussions with the Trojans, musical performances, and a special seal training session.

The adrenaline event of the year will once again have two acts, the afternoon one starting at 1:30 PM and the evening one at 7:00 PM. The afternoon show is, of course, intended for parents with younger children. Otherwise, the program for both shows will be the same.
